Swimming Pools & Your Asthma

There have been some discussion of controversies surrounding swimming pools and asthma. A study published in the journal Pediatrics concluded "chlorinated pool exposure seems to contribute significantly to the burden of asthma and respiratory allergies among adolescents." In the last poll many of you said that swimming improves your asthma.The research claims that chlorine may increase risk of and exacerbate asthma. I wondered what sort of pools our readers are using and if many of you avoid chlorinated pools. Does chlorination worsen or exacerbate your asthma? What do you think?
